I am a hobbyist web developer who is new to dynamic websites, php and dreamweaver. I am currently working on a project that utilises numerous forms to submit data to a database.
The data that is inserted also needs to be available to be updated if required. so i currently need 2 versions of each form 1 for insert and another for update.
Is it possible to use a single form for insert and update, instead of using 2 forms 1 for each function. This would help reduce the level of duplication on the site.
If so is there anyway to do this in Dreamweaver? or could anyone point me at an example of how this may be achieved.
Thanks to all

If by 'in Dreamweaver' you mean can you combine Insert and Update server behaviors on a single page, the answer is no. You would need to code this by hand.
Thanks for the information, disappointing that Dreamweaver can't handle it but at least i know where i stand..
looks like this is what i need.....http://forums.adobe.com/message/1927405
