So I'm using Premiere Pro CS3 and I've been having endless troubles rendering this project that I've been working on. Everytime I figure it out and move forward, some new issue hits me in the face. I'm rendering a 90 minute animated film, initially I was having trouble rendering the movie in its entirety but was finally able to make it work by rendering it in parts and then cutting the parts back together. Even with the double render the image quality was very good and I was quite happy with it. Problem was, when I went to burn it using Encore the image was cropped weird. It's a 1280x720 image, and it was being automaticaly enlarged for some reason and automatically cropped back to its 1280x720 dimensions so the edges of the picture were cut off. So to solve this problem I took the seperately rendered parts into a new premiere file with 720x480 dimensions, scaled my film to fit so that I could render an mov out that would be of a DVD ready file size. But this will not render for some reason. Everytime I try, I get the "Error Compiling Movie" message for some reason and sometimes, not always, I'll also get a message saying that Premiere has encountered a serious problem and will be shut down. This is the exact same process that I used to successfully render the 90 minute film in it's original dimensions, the only project setting that I changed was the frame size, so I don't understand why this wouldn't work, if anything you'd think that it would render easier as the destination file is a small aspect ratio and theoretically would use less disk space. Any suggestions on what might be causing this problem?
