We use Adobe 9 Professional and are trying to create our handwritten signatures so we can sign pdf documents. I have step 1 done (scan your signatures in a relatively high DPL); where is step 2 located (covert the image to a vector drawing). Is this available thru Adobe 9 Professional? or is it a separate application that needs to be purchased or downloaded. Once we figure out step 2 - where is step 3 (make the background transparent) located? Thank you.
Converting to vector is not something you'd do in Acrobat, but rather something like Illustrator. You do not need to convert to vector. For example, see the following for just setting a transparent background: http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2007/02/creating_a_tran_1/
