I use InDesign CS5.5 for creating folios playable on iPad via the Digital Publishing Suite, it works pretty good and the benefit system for my client is that once the folio loaded on the iPad in Content Viewer it can be viewed offline, no need internet connection.
Except that in the application in question there are buttons that open PDFs (or .ics files) and the PDFs are apparently not sent locally on the iPad with the folio, the only solution I found for that if they are available is to put them online on a server and make a hyperlink to the url.
This works but it must in this case have an internet connection, the goal was out that the application is accessible even without internet connection.
Does anyone know if there is a solution to my problem?
Thank you for your help.
