It sounds like the library's software has not filled in the token
correctly. I'd contact the library's technical support staff and discuss
your problem with them. There's nothing you can do.
You need to copy the file over in ADE, and not in the finder. ADE copies the file as well as the loan token.
what do you mean "and not in the finder"? I've copied the files over several, even deleting and reinstalling ADE as well as the books.

When you copy the file to your Nook, make sure your are doing it from the Library view of ADE. The "Finder" is the MacOS File view, copying using this will cause the loan token not found message.
