Your problem is not unusual. Many have problems using an older version project file in a newer version. Providing you worked on a copy, or saved the edited project with a new name, or have a backup of the original you will be best exporting it to to a DV-AVI and start a new project in PRE10 using that as your starting clip.

Thank you for this workaround ! I just tried it and it seems to work. Anyway, i don't have explanation for the encountered error. I think that it is not correct from such a wellknown supplier as Adobe not to ensure compatibility from old to new version of the same software as we have to pay for the update !
Thank you for the advice but does not apply to Première Eléments, only useful for Première Pro.
Actually, when it comes to interfacing with the Windows C++ Runtime Library, PrPro and PrE are really pretty close.
