The preferences option to prompt before putting, should do it. If that's
not working, try doing a full uninstall and reinstall as described below:

In your Remote site definition, have you enabled automatic PUT on save?
Also there is no capability in DW to put ALL files if you have not selected
all files. At most all you will put are the current file's dependent files,
i.e., any files necessary to properly display the current file. No more....
