How to add a simple pop-up?

      Hello

I would like to add a simple pop up to my MX 2004 site (with a link for 'close'). I have a quiz, which does not offer solution to the answers yet, and I though a pop-up containing the answers would be the best way to go ahead.

      Any advice appreciated.

create a movieclip, create a dynamic textfield in that movieclip, give the textfield an instance name and create your close button and convert it into a movieclip and give it an instance name and code for it to remove (removeMovieClip() its _parent). then right click on the movieclip in your library and click linkage and assign a linkage id to the movieclip.

whenever you want a popup with text, use attachMovie() to instantiate your movieclip (with the textfield), assign text to your textfield and position your movieclip.
