      Hi,

      Hope you're well.

I've created a graphic in Photoshop that is text some effects on it. The background is transparent.

However, when I place it as a TIFF in an InDesign file it imports it with a white background.

Is that because it's a TIFF?

I ultimately had success placing it as a GIF (which I know can handle transparency) but will that be a good file format for print?

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like placed as a TIFF.

Thanks very much for your help.
