How can I open a book???

I finally downloaded a book on to my nook from my Imac and cannot open it.  I get a message "user not activated."  I have talked to nook support, the library, and Apple support.  I have redone everything a number of times and this message continues to come up.  What else should I do?

Download a copy (from B&N) of Nook for Mac.  ADE 1.7 does not support content from B&N.
