I recently got Premiere Elements. One part of what I'd hoped to accomplish with this purchase was adding meta-tags to my movie files (who, where, etc.). I've been able to add tags in Organizer, but they appear to be database, rather than file based tags. Can anyone help me figure out how to add tags to my .mov, .avi, .mpg files?
Unlike EXIF data for stills, there aren't really any meta-tags for video. Most software I've seen that allows tags do exactly the same as PRE - i.e. they are held and linked to the clip via an internal database.

I've seen conflicting information on whether you can or can't tag a video. One option that seems really promising is MetaX http://www.danhinsley.com/metax/metax.html Another is VideoDrive http://www.aroona.net/VideoDrive/Home.html
Is anyone familiar with these tools to know if the perform as advertised or are they just another database option with misleading websites?
