Locate Object should highlight the object's layer not the parent's layer

The Locate Object command should highlight the selected layer rather than the parent layer.

Per the following image, I have 100 text objects in a layer named Peaks. If I select the text object named Soldier Peak and choose Locate Object, the Soldier Peak layer is correctly displayed in the Layers Panel, but the highlight is on the layer named Peaks rather than the selected layer (named Soldier Peak). Based on the highlight, it's as if the command located the parent layer rather than the selected layer.
