Is there any method or script to convert all clipboard data saved in source indd file to files on the hard drive?
Sorry, no answer from me on this issue, but I want to discourage the practice of pasting images into indd-documents – I work in prepress and this technique seems patently unwise for example if one wants to re-separate images in Photoshop or if multiple instances of CI-elements like logos have to be corrected.
No, and your laziness is also giving you an inferior image. Pasting images from anywhere but inside ID using a previously placed image) gives you only the image preview data and file bloat.
This is a round about way of doing what you want but might work.
Export the indesign file as a PDF then in acrobat
Advanced>Document Processing>Export All Images
Never imbeded an image before so not sure if this will work but maybe worth trying.
The images are not embedded, they are simply pasted into the document. All you're getting is a preview - as Peter aluded to.
Use File>Place - that is the correct way. Or drag and drop from a folder.
