automatically add a timestamp to WebHelp output?

I'd like to add something to my WebHelp output so I can easily tell which version ends up in the product. The files in the product get new timestamps during the build so that's no help.

Is there some way to automatically something like a _version.txt file in the top directory with the date and time the project was last generated?

We add the help version to the title bar. That way anyone who opens the help has version information. Customers can give that to support if requested.
