Simple question, but I could not find a definitive answer by google or forum search. I guess I am just a bit surprized that PE doesn't provide an uninstaller like many sophisticated applications. I've seen the generic "Windows Uninstall" solution in my searches, but want to make sure there is not a PE uninstaller lurking somewhere that I should be using.
I am running Windows XP
Ideally, PrE should uninstall, with the Add/Remove Programs in Windows control panel. Do you not see it there?
If you do not, then you might need to do a Repair Install first, as something in your installation might have become smurfed.
If you wish to insure that all vestiages of PrE have been removed, then use the Adobe Cleaning Tool. Though listed for CS 5.5 applications, it works well with Premiere Elements too.
When done, I would use a good Registry cleaner utility. Even the best programs, almost always leave a Registry entry, or two, around.
