Hi, im using Adoxtra to connect a MS access data base (2000) and Director 11
The problem I have is when displaying the query in a text member,it displays rare symbols ex: if the database field contents characters like à, è, ñ the text member displays #, O and other characters.
I've tried to change the field type to memo but I got the same thing.
Can anyone have a solution??
Have you set your db or table to support unicode?... I'm guessing you should be able to do that even on an Access 2000 db.
Edit: Also, make sure you are using a Unicode supported font such as Arial which contains a huge set of the unicode glyphs.
As well, what eversion of Director are you using?... D11.x supports Unicode. Lower versions do not.
Oh, I have no idea that I needed to do that, thanks for helping me, I'll try it and I hope it works, thanks.
