I have been using a quicktime mov file that was exported from CS5, into my CS5.5. It works fine in Audition, which I use to synch the sound. But the duration changes when I import it into Premiere.
How do I get it to play at the correct speed/duration? I've tried altering the duration but that doesn't work. I don't have the original project, so I have to work from the quicktime file.
I'm curious what makes you think the duration changes?
I used the .mov file to create the sync track and music track in Audition. It worked perfectly and the duration was approximately 10:41.
I imported everything to Premiere Pro 5.5 and the audio tracks are fine, but the duration of the .mov file became 10:28. Of course it's now all out of sync with the audio tracks I took forever to make.
The person who sent me the .mov file used Premiere Pro 5. I don't know if that might have anything to do with it. Nevertheless, I'm just desperate to get it to play out at the correct duration and in sync.
