1. Re: Script to rotate gradient 90 degrees?
CarlosCanto Mar 2, 2012 10:25 AM (in response to Juano Hunt)what if you make your gradient the way you want it, then drag it to the Graphic styles palette? then everytime you need to use it, you select your object and click on it (the graphic style).

Muppet Mark Mar 2, 2012 10:49 AM (in response to Juano Hunt)I must argee that it's hardly worth the bother… Only saving a click or two. Add that shortcuts are for actions… If an action calls a script it will get broken at app quit so you need to reset it… Sorry…

3. Re: Script to rotate gradient 90 degrees?
Juano Hunt Mar 2, 2012 1:52 PM (in response to CarlosCanto)Thanks, I hadn't thought of trying that
I've tried dragging it to the swatches palette in the past, but there seems to be a bug with that. At least for me with CS5.

Muppet Mark Mar 2, 2012 1:57 PM (in response to Juano Hunt)Carlos, said graphic styles palette not swatches did you try this also? To do such a small thing is not really making the most of scripting… Change a 1000 in a click sure then you got our attention…

5. Re: Script to rotate gradient 90 degrees?
Juano Hunt Mar 2, 2012 2:00 PM (in response to Muppet Mark)Yes, that's what I meant
(In the past I've tried dragging it the swatches palette, and it was buggy. I hadn't thought of dragging it to the graphic styles palette. I've now done that and it works great.)
