probably a very Newbie qustion, but I'm after a little bit of help.
I'm editing videos in PP CS5 which I recorded on a canon 600d in 1080 x1920 at 25fps,
I've set up the PP file and sequence correctly for the video format and editing is a breeze, but I am having a few problems exporting.
exporting using the preset youtube settings (720x1280) works great, but I'd really like to take advantage of the full 1080. I've tried exporting as HDTV and various other settings, but no matter what I've tried and believe me I've tried a lot, the video comes out a juddery or choppy and just doesnt play smoothly. (the videos plays extremely smoothly when I play the source file with quicktime)
I've also tried match settings, but all I end up with is a white (blank) output with no audio,
If you can help with any advice on how to export a movie in 1080 for youtube it would be greatly appreciated.
Start with a YouTube preset that works, and change the export dimensions.
(On a side note, horizontal resolution always comes first. To wit; 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, etc.)
You have to raise your Level to 4.2 to get the YouTube to 1920x1080
Once you do that make sure to go back and change the FPS since for some reason raising the levels also changes that too.
I wish Adobe would just create a preset for 1080 and 720 HD and that would make it easier for people new to the software.
Once you get the settings you like just save it as a new preset so you dont have to edit it again.
