Hi all, I work at a mid-size publishing firm. They use Indesign to create yellowpage ad pages, save to PDF, and then export them to an online flip-book platform. One of the larger problems they're facing is that whenever an ad needs added, removed, or changed, the layout of all subsequent pages aren't rearranged dynamically. I've been trying to think of solutions for this, and a few ideas come to mind, but I don't know where to start. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?
One way would be to paste the ads as inline anchored objects in a text frame. If the frames are all linked, and the ads are each in their own paragraph, you can set the paragraph style to include a start on next page or in next frame Keep option, then adding or removing an ad would reflow all the others.
