ADE links your ereader to your computer's copy of ADE. You can link the
same ereader to more than one computer, but you can't link more than four
ereaders to a particular computer.
ADE registered to me on my pc, linked to only one Nook Color. That rules that out. One PC, One reader.
I was in the middle of a book I had signed out at library, digital edition, that I had been reading for days. Signed on one day and the reader said I was not authorized. Why did I become UN-authorized? I had to go through process all over. Authorized reader again, then had to delete books because the reader said the loan token was missing. Copied them from my PC to Nook again and all was fine. Makes no sense why the reader needed to be authorized again, when it had already been and was working fine.
Just wondering what caused the reader to no longer be authorized when it had been. What would cause this?
Just throwing this out in case anyone knows and I can prevent it from happening again.
There was a bug in the 1.4.2 update that made your nook lose the authorization.
Nothing on your computer had changed, so something on your ereader did.
I guess we have to remember to treat our ereaders as if they were our
precious children, or they get mad and refuse to work any more....
Seriously, I have four of them and they can be tempermental, requiring
resets every so often (kinda like changing diapers).
