I just bought Adobe CS 5.5 Web Premium. I am a newbie. One of my first experiments was me trying to animate a picture that I took of a hummingbird. I called the FLA Hummingbird.fla. Now, when I create any new FLA files, and save them as say Flowers.fla, it always adds :Hummingbird to the title of the project. Can someone explain that to me?
It sounds like you opened a Project in Flash. And now every new file is appended to that Project. This will have no net effect on the Flash file that you are working on. The only advantage is if you need to share external files with different movies. I'm guessing that you won't need to do this.
If you go back to the project information in Flash, you should be able to find the root folder for the project. You can just trash that folder and you won't have the project reference any more.
Thank you so much.
