    Lightroom 4 Failed Extraction

I have tried downloading and extracting the Lightroom_4_LS11.exe file now several times and always get this message:

      PHOTOSHOP LIGHTROOM 4.INSTALLER

A PROBLEM OCCURRED WHILE EXTRACTING SOME FILES. CHECK AVAILABLE SPACE ON YOUR COMPUTER

AND THE WRITE PRIVILEGES ON THE DESTINATION FOLDER.

In the past, this kind of problem was caused by my firewall and AV being active but I have disabled them for the install.

I have also tried to RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR the installation file on my Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit OS with 165 GB

of free space on root drive and 416 GB free space on the alternate drive [both internal].  I have rebooted prior to the install

and I always end up with the same result.  I have tried saving to different locations with the same result.   I uninstalled LR

4.0 Beta.UNTIL I went back to the Adobe Store and downloaded the install file again.  Both files read exactly the same and

have the same file size.  It sounds like a corrupted download.  If anyone else has this problem, try re-downloading the file.

It may work for you as well.
