Okay so I have a 150 page word document that I typed out in microsoft word. I'm wondering how I can paste that into adobe in design for formatting all in one go?
So far I've been trying to make a text box on each individual page and then pasting each page of the MW doc one page at a time but it's really slow. I've also tried dragging the in design word box down over all 150 pages but when I paste in the text it doesn't go past the first page and gets cut, even the text box I dragged is over all 150 pages.
Can someone please help me out here? I would appreciate it.
This will save a lot of time: Don't paste from Microsoft Word. Choose File > Place. Go to the first page. When clicking with the placement cursor, hold down the Shift key to invoke Autoflow. It will place the text and automatically add pages as necessary. The text will be placed with the margin guides you set up when you created the document.
