Firefoxs exposes https rpc-data in plugtmp

I use HTTPService quite extensively and when I run my flex-app in Firefox I suffer from slowdown after a couple of hours. I have tracked this down to Firefox storing all XML-request I do as files in the \Users\myname\AppData\Local\Temp\plugtmp-*\ directory. Even data transfered over https.

First of all, I would like to stop this since it slows down my application. Secondly, it's really unsecure. Just download all the files in this directory and you have cleartext-data of all https rpc-calls. They are deleted when I close the application, but can easily be restored.

Does anyone of you know of a way to stop this? I have tried various cache-directives in the php-files without any luck, and Internet Explorer does not seem to have this problem.
