    Error 1021...

    Sam*maS

      So I am creating a Flash file using Actionscript 3.0, and here is my code-

      Capture.PNG

      So when I test the .swf, I get these errors-

      Capture2.PNG

      So I need help. What does Error 1021 mean exactly, and how can I fix it?

      (For a clearer view of images, just click on them)

      Thanks.

          quite a few flash error messages are unclear but error 21 means exactly what it says, you have functions with the same name.  for example,

          function overF(){

          //whatever

          }

          function overF(){

          //whatever else

          }

          are both overF() function names.  how would a computer program know which one should execute?

          fix that by using different function names for different functions.  if you only need one function named overF(), don't write it more than once.

            OK, so here is my code now-

            3.PNG

            So I use 2 different functions, F and G, for Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but I still get Error 1021.

            4.PNG

            Since it is within the same code for the same image, why would I get this error? I did the same thing below, but I didn't get an error for that one.

            Thanks.

              because you're using overF() and outF() somewhere else.  use movie explorer to check.
