Is there a more appropriate place to post this question?
I'm completely new to mobile. I wrote an app as per the Flash Builder app in 5 minutes tutorial. That tutorial covers Android only.
1. I tried to follow a second Adobe tutorial at
which tells me in Step 2 to register my UDID at the "iOS provisioning portal" in order to move my app to my iPhone.
2. The link provided in the tutorial leaves me at:
https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action
which has no provision that I can find for registering the UDID. I can edit my profile personal info and that's it.
3. An Apple developer forum member posted that he was "worried" about my reference to Flash Builder and that I needed to use Xcode. I couldn't get an explanation of his worry or an answer to the question about registering the UDID.
Q1: Are Flash Builder and Xcode competing products? Is it an either/or question? I have experience in Flex and Flash and would like to stay with Flash Builder if it's a matter of choice.
Q2: Can anyone tell me how to get my Flash Builder produced app to my iPhone?
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Welcome to the wonderful world of iOS development. No worries friend, you can create and submit apps built with Flash Builder. You won't use Xcode except for the very last stage when you're ready to submit the app to the App store. Even then, you only use the Application Loader app that installs with Xcode to submit.
In the meantime, to answer your questions on provisioning, I've created a number of tutorials on added device UDIDs, creating profiles, and creating .p12 signing certs. You can find them at my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/iBrent
Specifically this playlist covers the provisioning process: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA9AF0005B1B5ED1D
Check those out, along with the other Flash Builder tutorials and let us know if you have anymore questions.
Good luck!
