Hi, I have Acrobat 9 and I am trying to find a way to modify the print button. I have recently built a kiosk and one of the menu items is to be able to view and print documents. I am able to view and print the document, but I have set the software to hide the navigational bar and to display everything full screen. Because of this there is no way for the user to close out the document and return back to the main menu. I was wondering if there was a way to modify the print button so that once the print job is sent out, it automatically closes out the document? Thanks in advance.
This is more of an Acrobat SDK question but it sounds like you create an IAC and are using the AcroPDF.dll as the display for the document. You may want to look at the Acrobat SDK documentation and also post this in the Acrobat SDK forum.
You can't change the behavior of the standard Print button, but you can
create your own, that closes the document after the print command is
Thanks for the replies, it is much appreaciated. How do I go about creating a button that closes after the printing is finished. I tried to find a way to create and modify buttons but I didn't find anything in the library.
