    Wordpress website subDir

    jokenadrian23 Level 1

So I've decided to make a new wordpress website and at the sametime I wanted it to be in a sub directory this time around.

My current site is Jokermartini.com (which is the old one)

I've made a new one which is located in a subdirectory beta.JokerMartini.com (the new one)

Is there a way in the .htacces to make the website direct to beta.JokerMartini.com as well as when a user clicks on a link on the new site that it does NOT display "beta" in the address bar rather just "jokermartini.com......"

I went here http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory and did what it said to do under this section "Pointing your home site's URL to a subdirectory" but it didn't seem to work right.

Could someone help me out please. It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks
