Animate the Particles/sec parameter and/or adjust the opacity over Life gradient to avoid particles bunching up in one place.
I have tried those and the problem still there! Thank you!
This is all about birth rate, life span, velocity, and the other emitter properties. Seeing your timeline and the particular properties in your screenshot would help a lot. I can't tell anything about any of your settings or the path from this screenshot.
Try something like this:
With everything set to zero this setup leaves a string of textured polygons exactly along the path of the light I named Emitter.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do.
Thanks Rick. But in that project you don't have activated the orient to path property niether is a Motion Path. I'm sure that if you do it the first particle will do the same thing. I have patched a little the problem moving the keyframes of the Motion Path light. With this the rotation of the first particle is done out of the screen, but still there.
Thank you Todd for the suggestion! That was the first thing I must do!
I find this post in the trapcode forum
In the Physics/ Air/ Motion Path option, after the 9 path there are HQ paths. Changing the path 1 to 1 HQ solved the problem!!
One year took me this!!!
A screenshot showing what you were trying to do would have led me to that same solution. When you ask difficult questions like this we need all the information we can get about your project.
Glad you got it solved.
BTW, the path you see is the motion path of the null.
