Seriously, there must be a smarter way than that. I mean a semantic correct way and not to abuse the search function for jumping in code. More than 3 Keystrokes are too much for a fast and effective workflow for simple task like a jump.

John Waller Mar 16, 2012 4:57 PM (in response to :::chromax:::)All I can say is that it works for me.
Why is it an abuse of the Search function? To me, it's exactly what the Search function is designed to do.
I don't know of any other way of doing the same thing in DW Code View.

:::chromax::: Mar 19, 2012 3:02 PM (in response to John Waller)A search function is to find something you don´t know where it is in the code. With your solution you just use it to jump cause you exactly know where it is but it takes too long scroll by hand. You can speed up your solution when you use the same word in your comments and search it with "find all". Then you can put your search results right or left on your screen and with a double click your instantly at the point. But when you need the search function for what its made for, the results are gone.
I just can hope that future releases of dreamweaver get an option for speedy jumping in code or I learn to write plugins.
