In Premiere, when I want to jump to a previous or next cut, I use page-down and page-up, respectively.
How can I do the same/similar thing in After Effects?
In the example above, what keyboard shortcut can I use to take my CTI
I just read the whole keyboard short-cut page and didn't see it. Surely it exists, and I just missed it or don't know what it's called. RIGHT?
There are so stinkin' many standard keyboard shortcuts that it really does get confusing. I downloaded the PDF version of AE Help, found them and printed out the pages... and I'm still left scratching my head sometimes. But to answer your queries directly:
1. Highlight the top clip, and hit the i (for (Inpoint) key
2. Hit the i (for Inpoint) key
3. Highlight the top clip and hit the o (for Outpoint) key
4. I'll let you figure it out from here.
Oh, duh! I saw in/out points mentioned, but was thinging more along the NLE lines... I figured it was a mater of knowing what they were called.
Learning AE's arcane terminology is no Day At The Beach, I'll grant you that.
