That version is a little older than the one I have in my CS5 folder. You might want to make sure you've run all of your updates.
Sorry, my mistake. That is the version I have for ID. There are some other copies in other CS5 applications that are newer.
Please describe what you are doing when the error occurs. I know you are running Windows, but which version? Is ID patched to 7.0.4?
My copy of Windows is 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. The InDesign version is 184.108.40.2063. I get the same crash message each time I start the program, shortly after ID's startup window says 'Starting up Service Registry...,' so the program never finishes loading successfully.
