Cannot install Digital Edition on iMac

I went to the ADOBE web page to download the "Adobe Digital Edition" at http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/?promoid=DTEIO

After I click "install" at the "Adobe Digital Edition Installer" window, I got a new installer window to ask me to click "yes" for installation.

However, there is no response by clicking "yes", and it all stopped there without progress.    Even gone through the trouble shooting instructions, it still not working.

Please help.  Thanks.     My computer is the new 2011 version of iMac.

Just a note to add that I'm having the exact same problem.  I have also tried an alternate route to downloading this and received an error webpage.

I am running the latest version of Mac Lion OS, 10.7.3, on my 2008 Intel iMac.

Unfortunately, ADE won't run on Lion. I believe that Adobe is working on

the problem, but I'm not an employee of theirs.

I am running Lion on my MacBook Air and it is working fine. I had been concerned I wouldn't be able to download my library books but I did that on the weekend and had no problem.

I am using Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2 on Mac OS 10.7.3.
