Flex VMWare Java Runtime very slow

    shafik2008
When I was running Flex on Windows XP on a standalone PC, it was working fine.

When I installed Flex on Windows XP in an VMWare Workstation instance, it became very slow. Java runtime would chew up 100% of CPU most of the time and make editing and running an app extreamly slow.

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks.

I have a similar problem. I run Flexbuilder 3 on Windows XP inside a virtual machine (Vmware player). Sometimes, when I start the debugger, it uses 100% CPU and slows down my PC for minutes. The debugger never starts. Everything was running fine in VMware, and some day it went very slow... I don't know why. :-(
