Hi,
I'm using Flash CS5.5
I have a strange problem. When I run an exe projector that I exported from flash cs5.5, and on few of my client's computers it running very slow in full screen.
When I running an swf file (not exe projector), also in full screen, it running well!
I checked my clients computer hardware, and it match the system requirements of flash player.
Please help me to solve this annoying problem.
Thanks, Ezra.
Do they have antivirus software running? Chances are it might interfere with flash being run as a "spooky" EXE but it knows that a SWF shouldn't be able to harm your OS as it cannot manipulate your filesystem. Make sure you have the desired flash accelleration setting (None, Direct or GPU). Typically you'd want to use GPU.
Thank you for the answer!
I checked the things to told me. There is a Mcafee antivirus running o the computers, but i tried to disable it for a moment
but the exe file stiil unning slow.
i didn't understand where i can file the accelleration setting you mentioned (None, Direct or GPU).
Another thing i tested, is to run an exe file the i created in Flash CS3. it running Well.
So something is wrong in flash player 10.2.....
what else can i do/check?
Thanks Alot!
Ezra.
Click Publish Settings. It opens to Flash publish settings by default. At the bottom is a drop-down containing a setting for Hardware Acceleration. By default it is set to "None". Set that to GPU, try again.
