Do you know if the problem is with the TextArea itself, or if your web service is returning an empty result and assigning it to the text property?
I usually would not recomend binding to lastResult directly, and rather add some code that controls when and how data will propagate in your application. I suspect the issue you are having is caused by binding directly to lastResult.
How exactly would I go about that? Make a bindable var linked to the lastResult then link it to the TextArea? I'm sure there is a result as there is something that shows up, exactly as its supposed to, the text just flashes. It's just wierd that its doing this as I've bound lastResult to labels and titles before too...
I tried what i said linking it to bindable var it didnt work
I added the property skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" and it works now.. not sure why but the bug is gone.
