What does “nothing happened” mean?
The Teachers and Students version of the software only allows one activation at a time. The Academic version allows for two activations, but this comes at a higher price point.
Don’t hold me to this but I think there is only one version now…the Student and Teacher version.
There is no difference in the academic version and the Student and teacher edition, with both you get two activations.
We would like to know more about your issue, what exactly are you doing and what is the error message you are getting,
Also please specify theOS for your laptop and your computer , and the serial number you have for which OS is it for windows or mac.
When I try to enter my serial number, I get the following message "the serial number is invalid for the product."
My laptop is a MAC OS X, 10.5.8
And the computer is also a MAC OS X, 10.6.8
The serial number is for a mac.
The error message indicates that it's not an activation problem, but a problem with the serial number itself.
Where did you find the serial number? The number should be in the format XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX where each X is a number.
If you're satisfied that you have indeed found and correctly entered the serial number, then you'll have to call Adobe Customer Service and talk to a specialist. We are not Adobe, but users, and we can't help with that kind of problem.
