As per JDI improvements listed here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/4223572#4223572
UI
- Remove the app bar and reduce the drag/app bar over 30%

I'm liking having a little more room to work.

I personally preferred it when you had direct access to Bridge via the icon at the top of the screen.
Same here. A 10x10 icon does'nt take up that much room, and not having it there mucks up the workflow. I don't like the minibridge as it reduces the work space area.

John Stanowski Mar 22, 2012 10:52 PM (in response to Contemporary_Dave)Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed it was gone. In CS5, I hit that Bridge icon a lot throughout the day.
Well, that sucks.

I have two 24in monitors. That itty bitty 10x10 icon doesn't eat up a lot of room, neither does the tool/app bar.

With that much screen space you could always undock the Mini-Bridge panel so that the [BR] icon is always available.

It's a matter of work flow. Also not both monitors are used when photo editing. A 10x10 icon doesn't take up that much room. MiniBridge slows the process. Put the itty bitty icon BACK! Removing it was a crappy change.

5DM2 Mar 27, 2012 6:49 AM (in response to Contemporary_Dave)Bring back the Bridge Button. It's normal and necessary to go back and forth between PS and Bridge throughout the day and should be as quick and easy as possible. Programmers don't think like retouchers, so listen to us, please.

it.

ACC1389 Mar 28, 2012 8:58 AM (in response to Contemporary_Dave)I made a quick Action using one of the "F" buttons to bring up Bridge but I also would like very much to see the Bridge icon in PS 6 as it was in PS5. C'mon Adobe work with your customers.

Interesting.

elfcake54 Apr 3, 2012 5:56 PM (in response to Contemporary_Dave)Saving that little bit of space??? Just to take up even more space with MB???? (which Sucks anyway). All the other complaints about this misadventure by the Adobe team are spot on! Bring back the icon in the menu bar. This has to go down as the most ignorant change in the history off PS. FIX-IT!!!
