    Creating a base Application class in Library project?

    JAXIMFLASH Level 1

      I'd like to create a base application that other applications can be based off of.

      I have created a library project and created a base ViewNavigatorApplication class. In this base application class, I implement some styles, but I am getting warnings that state "CSS type selectors are not supported in components: [name of component]"

      I have copied and pasted a portion of this base application class below.

      How can I create a base application in a library project and avoid getting these warnings?

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

      <s:ViewNavigatorApplication xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

                                                 xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

                                                 addedToStage="onAddedToStage()">

                <fx:Metadata>

                          [SWF(backgroundColor='#000000',frameRate='25')]

                </fx:Metadata>

                <fx:Style>

                          @namespace s "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark";
