I'm currently running 64-bit Windows 7 on a Dell Vostro 3550 Intel Core i5-2350M 2.3GHz. Premiere has worked fine before, but recently has been crashing on start-up. At first, it crashed when it tried to load "write_on", but after looking through some websites and copying the Common folder into the "en_US" and vice versa, it was able to get past that. Now it's freezing at "spectralnoisereduction6.dll". I can't find any advice online.
I'm unable to uninstall/reinstall it because I'm studying abroad right now and all my files are in another country. Same with Windows 7. Any recommendations?
Since you do not have the option to re-install at the moment try these:
1)Re-create plugin cache (hold down the shift key while launching Premiere Pro)
2)Search the specific file on the hard driver(most probably it is going to be in the Premiere Pro folder), move it to a different location and then try to launch application.
3)Also try launching application in a new user account.
