    Undefined Attribute name (xmlns)

I just installed Flash builder 4.5 in my kubuntu OS. I can turn on the Flash builder extension in Eclipse and have no problem creating a new flex project. However, I got warning messages in Problems tab. The error messages are as follow:

Element (tt) is obsolete. It's use is discouraged in HTML5 documents
Element (tt) is obsolete. It's use is discouraged in HTML5 documents
Element (tt) is obsolete. It's use is discouraged in HTML5 documents
Element (tt) is obsolete. It's use is discouraged in HTML5 documents
No grammar constraints (DTD or XML schema) detected for the document
      Undefined attribute name (xml:lang)
      Undefined attribute name (xmlns)

When I run the project, I got a blank page in my web browser. I closed the browser and run again, still the same. Any thoughts? Thanks for the helps.

          • Perhaps you are missing xml declarations in the mxml file in your project.

Add this to your mxml at the very top of the page. Hope it resolves the issue, if not done already.

          <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

          • For grammar and DTD issue follow this link:

However its also not very clear to me and I ignored the DTD warning.

          • For obsolete elements issue:

HTML5 aims to be backward compatible. Therefore no deprecated elements but obsolete elements are there. This means you may use obsolete elements which you browser will render, however your web page will be "non-conforming" due to use of these.

          Obsolete elements

          • frame
          • frameset
          • noframes
          • acronym (use abbr instead)

          Presentational elements which are obsolete:

          • font
          • big
          • center
          • strike

You might be using prefix "tt" for some obsolete element.
