I'm trying to do a radial gradient in After Effects. Current I'm trying to use the Ramp effect, but I need to edit the stop locations. And note, I'm specifically talking about the stop locations...not the anchor point for each start and end color.
For instance, here's what I can do in Photoshop:
Notice that in the gradient editor, I'm able to tighten up the transition between the two gradients.
I can figure out how to pull that off in After Effects.
Depends on what exactly you are after. AE does recognize the gradsient overlay layer style and will render it correctly, you jsut cannot edit it inside AE. If you need something that is editable in AE, apply a secondary color remapping effect after the ramp. Colorama offers the most control, but Tint and Tritone would also work. If you add Levels or curves effects inbetween, you can control the bias even further...
Colorama helped me fake it quite well. Thanks!
