I want to recreate this in Premiere or AE, how is this done? Please dont recommend changing the x/y position with wiggler, I'm not trying to recreate camera shake, I'm trying to recreate a vibration like a speaker cone or the wings on a bird/fly in motion. It should spin on the center fast and then slow down to a stop. So this is somehow animating the rotation on the clip to make it buzz left and right.
Any help or plugin ideas is greatly appreciated.
It's a combination of some randomized rotation and a time displacemenrt effect like "Echo".
Personally, I'd use an Expression Slider and link it to a Wiggle Expression on the rotation of the layer, and I'd link the same slider to "Number of Echoes" parameter of Time/Echo. You may need to use some maths to multiply or reduce the slider value on one or both of these expressions.
With these in place, you just keyframe the slider from zero to a number (probably a low number like 2 or 3, depending on your setup and required effect) to instigate the effect.
Can I write expressions in Premiere? BTW your echo tip was fantastic, now I just need to figure out the rotation part.
