I have a lot of images that were rendered out of 3DS MAX. A long time ago I recorded an action to make an alpha channel, use it as a mask, and save as 2 different file types. Worked great. Now, I need to open a bunch of these and somehow get rid of the anti aliasing around the image. I need crisp jaged edges. I did this some how in the past using threshold (I think) but can't for the life of me figure out what i did. Any ideas on how to make an aliased selection?
Without seeing an example it's hard to give specifics, but you might try Filter>Pixelate>Facet
You have an alpha channel that has grayscale in it?
Just use the Threshold function on that alpha channel.

Thanks for the replys! The filter option didn't do it for me the way I need it, but the threshold one did. Thanks!!
