I'm trying to finish up a project at university where we had to render various 3D scenes into jpegs (24 frames per second) and then edit them together into a short movie. I've ended up with roughly 400 jpegs and I was wondering if there is a simple way to convert all of the jpegs to a 1/24th of a second length. If not, do you have any suggestion as to how I could go about editing this without manually altering all 400 jpegs?
Thanks, and I apoligise for my cluelessness, the deadline is two days away and we haven't actually been taught how to use After Effects so any help is much appreciated.
Many editing applications are able to import image sequences directly. Why go through AE if you don't have to? Learning this application ain't for the faint of heart, especially if you're on a deadline.
By the way: I bet the frame rate you'll eventually need will NOT be 24fps, but 23.976 (aka 23.98) fps. There is a lot of tricky stuff to learn when you jump into the video production pool.
