Welcome to the forum.
Am I correct that you are burning an AVCHD DVD to be played on a BD player?
For the Export/Share file, what are the specs. that you are choosing?
Are both Export Audio & Export Video checked?
In the Multiplexer Tab, is that set to DVD, or to anything BUT "None?"
What happens if you move your "soundtrack" Audio Clip to any empty Audio Track, except for Soundtrack?
Thank you for your response, Bill! I moved the soundtract to another audio track and it worked! Any idea why it didn't work where it was?
Glad that it worked.
As to why the Fixed Soundtrack sometimes has issues, I haven't a clue. What version of PrE are you working on?
Several users have reported issues with both the Fixed Soundtrack, and Narration Tracks, not working properly, but those cases seem to be Project specific, in that when the same users use those Fixed Tracks, in other Projects, everything works fine. In every case, that I can recall, the "fix" has been to Move the Audio Clips to an empty "regular" Audio Track.
The issues seem to have cropped up in about PrE 7, and continued through PrE 9. Again, because the problems with those Tracks, seems to be Project related, it is tough to diagnose what the real "cause" is. To date, I do not recall anyone having the issues in PrE 10, but maybe no one has hit the right combo of criteria (we have never been able to nail down what those criteria are) in a Project, to cause the problems.
Wish that we could track the problem down to something specific, so we could just say, "Don't do that," but we do not know what "that" is. Until we do, we'll just keep recommending that users Move the Clips to another regular Audio Track.
We started the project using PrE 9, experienced this problem and then upgraded to PrE 10 only to have the same issue. I'm very happy indeed your solution worked, and that you provided it so quickly too. Thanks again!
Interesting, and so very glad that you reported. I do not know if the PrE 9 Projcect to PrE 10 had anything to do with it, or if there was something else.
Stll, knowing what worked for you is important.
Thanks, and good luck,
