It sounds to me like the alpha channel of your logo
is not quite zero opacity, and is tinted slightly red.
Try scaling or moving your logo in the frame, and if the
red cast scales and moves with it... rework your logo.
i'll try it tomorrow thanks!i was guessing that was the alpha channel te is not at zero!
but i'm not sure of moving it will solve the problem because the logo appear later (4sec) on the first pic but the photo is with the red cast since the begins.
tomorrow i'll try waht you suggest!
Moving it won't solve the problem, it will AFFIRM the problem.
Then, you rework your logo to be sure the alpha is zero.
I tried everything!
doesn't work. the alpha channel in opacity 0%. i tried all the possible format for transparency(tga, eps, psd vector)with both photoshop and ilustrator...always the same problem....the only things that work is jpg but then is not anymore a nice tranparency!
thanks for the help anyway!
So... does the red cast on your images move and scale with the logo?
If you remove the logo from the timeline do you still see a red cast on your images?
Have you tried to crop or garbage mask the logo into place?
Your OP says "red vector, rgb, gives a red cast on the black and white photos".
The problem is either the logo itself, or how it is being applied.
the red cast doesn't move or scale with the logo.
when i remove the logo the red disappear. if i desaturate the following phots the red remain just on the pic where the logo is.
the red is visible just when I export the project in video. in the timeline everything looks fine but when i export red shadow all over.
if i select the alpha channel in my logo there is a red cast then i make it away putting opacity to 0% but the problem still there!
I'm tapped out.
try creating a new logo in photoshop and see if it still casts the red.
Also a screen shot might help.
If you can post your logo file somewhere for me to inspect, I might be able to fix it for you, or see what the problem is.
My suspicion is that there's something wrong with your file, not Pr.
Hallo GLeen and Jim,
i Think i solve the problem not sure...
the problem was apparently solved when i put the logo in a dedicated video channel above the channel of the pics. before was in the same channel
the screen at work need a re calibration anyway but the red cast looks almost not there.i have to check in a good monitor.
i'll try to post the logo some where.thanks a lot for your help. I'm just overload from work that i hardly find the time to sit in front of the pc.
