I'm starting to get calls from users who have updated to Flash 11.2 and no longer see video properly. So, I loaded the 11.2 debug version in FB 4.6.1 to see what's going on. The problem is when the video stops, there is no longer a "stopping' event fired. Instead, PlayStateChange is envoked with an even.playState of "buffering" when the video has stopped. This is throwing off all the timing for the courses.
Can anyone suggest a fix or workaround? I've got many unhappy customers knocking on my door!!
Sorry, in my panic I didn't provide all the information.
1. It's the MEDIA_PLAYER_STATE_CHANGE event that sending the "buffering" when stopped not PLAY_STATE_CHANGE.
2. PLAY_STATE_CHANGE event no longer sends "stopped" as an event.playState
3. The object of these events is a OSMF MediaPlayer.
Hopefully, that will provide some more clues...
