Hi I wanted to open a final cut xml in premiere pro and so I mananged to do so but when I want to change my audio levels on the timeline I noticed my audio is on two tracks left and right but the levels change separately. How do I change left and right together? I looked at tutorials and it seems like the left and right are both usually on one track only in premiere unlike final cut. Would that be correct? If so what is the solution to this? Can I merge my stereo tracks into one? Im confused.
Since you are converting an FCP project and the audio clips
are already in the timeline this method will not work.
But, if you re-map your audio channels in a Premiere project
before you add the clips to a timeline, here is your solution:
It's usually a good idea to finish a project using the sotfware you started with.

If they're on different tracks, you can't.
